This letter is written to compliment Art Robinson for the quality, professional work he did in helping us purchase a home. Art listened attentively when we described what we were looing for, then pulled together a list of homes that might be suitable for us. He then picked us up at or residence, drove us to the listings, toured the homes with us and then stepped back to let us make or decision. Once we had chosen the home we wished to make an offer on, Art completed the paperwork, sat down with us to go over everything in detail to make sure we understood the whole process, and then made the offer on our behalf. Once the offer was accepted, Art assisted in lining up appraisals, inspections, etc. He stayed in close contact with us during the whole process, making sure we understood each step. On the day of closing, Art was right there; again ensuring everything went smoothly. Not only was he very professional, but Art was very caring in that when we arrived to inspect the home on the day of the closing and found it dirty; he immediately got on the phone and arranged for someone to come clean for us while we were at the closing. Art definitely went above and beyond with helping us buy a house first, then advising us on how to renovate and sell the house that my family had been living in.

 

When there were difficulties with the first house we tried to purchase, Art helped locate inspectors that could give us the information we needed to realize that we should move on.  Then he located a second house, and did a great job of negotiating with the seller.  After moving in to our new home, we then had the previous residence to sell.  It was a large house in an exclusive neighborhood, and with the depressed economy we were at risk of not getting a very good price, or having it taking many months to find a buyer.  Art advised us to go the distance, fix it up so that it looked new.  It was not always comforting to see the large bills the contractors presented us with, but once we got the house on the market Art really went into action.  He got it sold quickly, and we actually cleared a nice profit after paying off the contractors!
